Sunday School
2 Corinthians Chapter 4:1-18
"Treasures in Perishable Containers"

Paul's letters to the churches and people of how to live and love one another
  • Fear is of Satan
  • Perfect love casts off fear
  • The knowledge of the Word of God keeps us from the blindness of Satan
  • The Word is the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Verse 7 - But this precious treasure - this light and power that now shines within us - is held in perishable containers, that is, in our weak bodies.  So everyone can see that our glorious power is from God and is not our own.
  • Psalms 116:10 - "I believe in God, and so I speak"
  • For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.
