New Bodies

Points
  • The tent is our bodies
  • Eternal body is heaven
  • Our Comforter is the Holy Spirit
  • Christ died for us, so we have died to the old way of life and re reborn to a new life
  • Faith is released from: our mouths and our hearts
  • Psalm 116:10 says "I believe in You so I spoke......"
  • 2 Corinthians 5:18 All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to Himself through what Christ did.  And God has given us the task of reconciling people to Him.

Sermon
Topic: A New Nature and Exercising Your Gift
2 Corinthians 5:17  "Those who become Christians become new persons.  They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone.  A new life has begun!"

Free will is choosing who we will serve.

Three words - "Did You Know"
  •           We can choose to be good
  •           We are lead by the Holy Spirit
  •           We can choose Jesus as our Savior

If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature - old things pass away and all things become new.

Why aren't we exercising our gift?
  •          Could it be that we are out of position?
  •          Could it be that we are out of shape?
  •          Are we not exercising our faith?

Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

We as Christians must be steadfast and strong believing in the message......

Get a change of life:
  •       The woman at the well came with one way of thinking but left with a new way of life.
To into all the world and tell them about the good news.

Our next project is under way.
