Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant, Mt. Pleasant & Shiloh

Prayer: Pastor Baggett

Scripture: Philippians 4:4-7 - Be glad in the Lord all times: again, I say, Be glad.  Let your gentle behavior be clear to all men. The Lord is near.  Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.  And the peace of Go, which is deeper than all knowledge, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Subject: An Advent Message of Joy

  • Weeping may come in the night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5
  • Are we living or just existing? Have we lost all hope?
  • We have hope, joy, faith and peace. Please keep that in mind in these troubled times.
  • Remember Sarah and Abraham who had lost all hope of having a child....but God! Genesis 21
  • We must rejoice in the Lord always!
  • By whom this poor body of ours will be changed into the image of the body of his glory, in the measure of the working by which he is able to put all things under himself. Philippians 3:21
  • In other words, at that time, we will have an extreme makeover! Hallelujah!
  • Jesus said that he would never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5
  • Let our gentleness be of good grace.
  • We as Christians should stand strong and be steadfast in the Lord no matter what is going on in thee world.
  • If God be for us, He is more than the world against us. Romans 8:31
  • Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
