Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant, Mt. Pleasant & Shiloh
Prayer: Pastor Baggett
Scripture: Matthew 5:38-41 -You have knowledge that it was said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say to you, Do not make use of force against an evil man; but to him who gives you a blow on the right side of your face let the left be turned. And if any man goes to law with you and takes away your coat, do not keep back your robe for him. And whoever makes you go one mile, go with him two.
Subject: Going the Extra Mile
- We need to have peace in the valley and all over in this season of division.
- Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
- We must reflect the love of God.
- We must go the extra mile. This notation comes from the Jews living under the Roman regime time.
- We must live with the mind of Christ and the love of God.
- Acts of kindness are essential to live by to show others God's grace through us.
- We must hold up the blood stain banner for Christ.
