Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant, Shiloh, & Mt. Pleasant

Welcome Pastor J. Baggett

back from Annual Conference!!

Prayer: Pastor Baggett

Scripture: Psalms 34:1 - I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Subject: Some of the Benefits of Praising God

  • Giving God praise allows God to act in our lives.
  • We should praise God without ceasing. Praising Him in the morning, all day, at work, when we are sad, etc.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In everything give praise: for this is the purpose of God in Christ Jesus for you.
  • Praising God gives us peace, gives us the victory.
  • God unlocks prison doors that bound us. Finances, work problems, family situations, etc. Praise God in all trials.
  • If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me. John 12:32
  • We are here for a higher purpose. God has a plan for each of us.
  • Psalms 16:11 - You will make clear to me that way of life; where you are joy is complete; in your right hand there are pleasures forever and ever.

Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant & Mt. Pleasant

Prayer: Pastor Baggett

Scripture: Exodus 14:8 & 13 - And the Lord Hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. But Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.

Subject: How To Cross Your Red Sea

  • God has a divine intervention for us.
  • If God's will is not heeded there will be consequences.
  • With God, we have to fear nothing.
  • Moses believed what God said. And God had a plan for His people.
  • When we face our Red Sea moments, let's not want to go back to "Egypt!"
  • We must seek God always.
  • Moses didn't allow his fear to control his faith.
  • We should always stand still and know that He is God. Psalm 46:10
  • They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
  • Moses acted on what God told him to do.
  • We must go forward in our service to the Lord.
  • The battle is not ours; it is the Lord's.
