Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Subject: The Mark of a Believer
- The indwelling of God's Holy Spirit which bares fruit in our lives as believers. We are light in a world of darkness.
- Only what we do for Christ will last.
- Our spiritual fruit comes in two forms..... activity ( things that we do) - Matthew 7 :21-23 - Not everyone that said unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
- The fruit of attitude is manifested outwardly. We should feed ourselves with God's word.
- God looks at the heart.
- The identifying mark are God's fruit of the spirits.
