Sunday School
Romans 11:1-36

  • There are a chosen few Jews who were righteous and faithful to Jesus.
  • God glorifies His grace by changing the hearts and tempers of the rebellious Jews.
  • The Jewish nation were as if they were asleep, without knowledge of the danger they were in of eternal ruin.
  • The Gentiles were grafted into the Olive tree by God.
  • The Jews will be brought back but in God's timing.
  • There is a vast distance and disproportion between God and man, between the Creator and the created.  This, forever shuts us from the knowledge of God's ways.
  • If all are of Him, and through Him, all should be to Him and for Him.

Sermon
Luke 2:11-14 - v11 for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. v12 And this is the sign unto you: Ye shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger. v13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,  v14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men in whom He is well pleased.
