Who We Are In Christ

Psalm 139:13-16
For you created my innermost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Isaiah 1:19
Be obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Matthew 22:14
Many are called but few are chosen (the faithful come, the ones who obeyed)

Acts 2:17
In the last days, God said, "I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prosper, young men will see visions, and you old men will dreams dreams. ( These last days denotes the days between Christ's first and second coming. In other words, the whole Christian age)

Sermon
Hebrews 11:1 & 12:1-2
Subject: Faith - Running Your face

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope is going to happen. It is the evidence of things not seen.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us.
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.
He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy He knew would be His afterward.  Now He is seated in the place of highest honor beside God's throne in heaven.
We must believe God. That what He says, He will do/has already done.
