Seasons Greetings from the Brown Chapel Church Family!

Our Sunday School lesson was from 2 Corinthians
Chapter 1:1-24

"Giving comfort in the midst of trouble"
We have God's comfort and grace which is unmerited favor.
God's mercy is everlasting and is given freely.
All the promises of God are "Yes" and "Amen."
Stand firm in your faith.
How to pray for other Christians:  Colossians 1:3-14
  • Be thankful for their faith and changed lives
  • Ask God to give help them know what He wants them to do
  • Ask God to give them deep spiritual understanding
  • Ask God to help them live for Him
  • Ask God to give the more knowledge of Himself
  • Ask God to give them strength for endurance
  • Ask God to fill them with joy, strength, and thankfulness
Sermon - Brief
Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.

Subject: "We Are More Than Conquerors"

And we know - not we think
We know that all things work together for the good.....but there's a condition.....
for those who love God.
We should realize that life happens but we don't need to bring more on yourselves by worrying.
Something to think about:
  1. Be transparent
  2. Take the panic out of your life
  3. Work on the problem
  4. The best solution is best
  5. Be willing to wash feet = servant/leader
This joy I have, the world didn't give and the world can't take it away.
The steps of a man are ordered by the Lord.
God can make your enemy your footstool. (Ephesians 1:22; Psalm 110:1)
If you resist the devil, he will flee. It is written....
