June 15, 2025 - Happy Father's Day

Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant, Mt. Pleasant & Shiloh

Prayer: Pastor Baggett

Scripture: Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who re the called according to his purpose.

Subject: Don't Worry, Be Happy

  • How long, oh Lord?
  • Sometimes life just isn't fair.
  • Remember Jacob, Joe, John
  • The Christian life is not a bed of roses.
  • 2 Corinthians ll:24 - Five times the Jews gave me forty blows but one.
  • Rain falls on the just and the unjust.
  • Five things to remember   Trials of this life are but a short reality as compared to eternity: Trials call leads us to better blessings (James 1:12 - Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him)" Trials gives us a better perspective of life: & Trials can help us experience the presence of God.
  • God gives us strength in every situation.
  • Jesus has defeated trials because His overcame the world.
  • Who shall separate us from the love of God?
  • Romans 8:38-39 - For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
