Scripture: Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any tow-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Subject: The Power of God's Word
- God's word is a manifestation of the mind and the will of our God.
- We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:37
- God's word is able to penetrate the mind and heart of men.
- The power of the word of God is able to bring forgiveness.
- God is omnipotent.
- The word of God is available to us so that we might be overcomers.
- "Get thee behind me Satan," and "For it is written" says Jesus to Satan. So we see that Jesus is an overcomer. Luke & Matthew
- God is the same today, yesterday and forever more. Hebrews 13:8
- Read Luke 5:1-14 and take from this reading that there is a working in the word of Jesus. So put your trust in God.
- God's word is everlasting.
- Heaven and earth will pass away but my word shall not pass away. Matthew 35
