Welcome From Brown Chapel/Avant & Mt. Pleasant

Prayer: Rev. Pelton

Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14 - Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this.  Instead I am single-minded: Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Subject: Letting Go Of The Past

  • God has a purpose for our lives.
  • There's nothing we can do to change the past.
  • We must look forward and press toward the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
  • Don't look back; don't stay in neutral; stop whining; don't stay in stagnate waters.
  • Forget those things that are in our past.
