May 25, 2025 - Memorial Sunday

Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant, Mt. Pleasant & Shiloh

Prayer: Pastor Baggett

Scripture: John 15:13 - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Subject: The Importance of Remembering

  • We should remember those who died for our freedom.
  • We should remember the saints of God who declared their love of Jesus.
  • Hebrews 13:3 - Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
  • We should remember our Lord, Jesus the Christ who died on the cross for our sins.
  • We need to be living examples of Jesus Christ.
  • We need to show the fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, faithfulness, kindness, etc. Galatians 5:22-23
  • If don't know Jesus in the pardon of your sins, you should make a change and seek Him out.
