Welcome from Brown/Avant, Shiloh & Mt. Pleasant

Prayer: Rev. Pelton

Scripture: Joel 1:8-11,14 - Wail like a young virgin clothed in sackcloth, lamenting the death of her husband-to-be.  No one brings grain offerings or drink offerings to the temple of the Lord anymore. So the priests, those who serve the Lord, are in mourning.  The crops of the fields have been destroyed. The ground is in mourning because the grain has perished. The fresh wine has dried up; the olive oil languishes.  Be distressed, farmers; wail, vinedressers, over the what and the barley. For the harvest of the field has perished. Announce a holy fast; proclaim a sacred assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the temple of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord.

Subject: Lord Send a Revival

  • Why do we need a revival? Because there us a famine in the land.
  • We need a right relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • We are blessed when we thirst after righteousness because we will be filled. Matthew 5:6
  • Is there a lack of spiritual passion?
  • Become a praying people.
  • If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7:14
  • We need more fervor for the Lord.
  • They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings of eagles, they shall run and not be weary walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
