Greetings from Brown Chapel/Avant, Shiloh and Mt. Pleasant!

Prayer: Rev. Pelton

Scripture: Psalms 46:10 - Cease striving and know that I am God

Subject: Cease Striving!

  • Be still and know that I am God
  • Trust in the Lord in all things.
  • We have a direct line of communication to God even in the midst of trials and tribulations.
  • Because we are believers, we have God.
  • We should stop trying to help or take care of ourselves. Instead reach out to God.
  • Be must understand that God allows difficulties to come in to our lives.
  • There is always a purpose behind our trials. So seek God in all situations.
  1. Through the trials there is good that can come from it.
  2. If we respond correctly to God, the experience is a positive affect in our lives.
  3. No matter what we are going through we can be still and cease striving.
