The Crown of Righteousness & Judgment
The Crown
2 Timothy 4:8 - Finally the crown of righteousness is reserved for me. The Lord, the righteous Judge, will award it to me in that day - and not to me only, but also to all who have set their affection on His appearing.
James 1:12 - Happy is the one who endures testing, because when he has proven to be genuine, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love Him.
1 Peter 5:4 - Then when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that never fades away.
James 1:3-4 - Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.  And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything.
Judgment
1 Corinthians 4:5 - So then, do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of hearts. Then each will receive recognition from God.
2 Peter 2:4 - For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.....
Acts 17:31 - Because He has set a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness, by a man whom He designated, having provided proof to everyone by raising him from the dead.
Ecclesiastes 12:14 - For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Matthew 12:36-37 - I tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.  For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
Sermon
Psalm 23:1-3 - [A Psalm of David] The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Topic: Can You Trust God?

Philippians 4:6 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Psalm 50:15 - "Pray to me when you are in trouble! I will deliver you, and you will honor me!"
Three Truths
(1) God is perfect in His love (Love is the foundation)
God always does what is best for us.
Romans 8:31 - If God be for us, who can ever be against us?
Hebrews 12:6 - For the Lord disciplines the one He loves and chastises every son He accepts.
(2) God is infinite in wisdom.
God knows what's best for us and acts accordingly.
God doesn't overlook anything.
(3) Can we trust God? YES! Yes we can.
God is sovereign (God is in control)
God keeps on proving Himself over and over and over.
