Victory Over Chaos
We already have the victory. Below are a few verses to look upon and understand that God is always in control.

Genesis 2:7
The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Deuteronomy 20:4
For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.
Isaiah 55:11
So shall My Word be that goes out from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Romans 6:14
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 8:31-32
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?  He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 15:55
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sermon
Matthew 7:15 - Beware (Look out!) of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep, but are really wolves that will tear you apart!

Subject: The Other Side of Deceit!
  • From the wolf's perspective, he is just trying to get by.
  • We need to watch out for wolves.
  • False prophets are convincing, cunning, charming, etc. They undermine and confuse the mind.
  • We know that the truth will make you free. John 8:32
  • We must put on the whole armor of God each and every day.
  • We live in a world of deception and that deception looks really good sometimes.
  • There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12
  • Be not deceived; God is not mocked. Galatians 6:7
  • Jesus says to beware of those whose words sound religious but who are motivated by money, fame or power. We can tell who they might be because in their actions and words, they minimize Christ Jesus and glorify themselves.
  • Read James Chapter 1
  • The other side of deceit is the truth!
