2 Corinthians 13:1-13
Paul's Final Advice

Do not harden your hearts my Christian friends
Test yourselves. If you cannot tell that Jesus is in your life, it means you have failed the test.
Continue to do right in the sight of God.
Stand for the truth at all times.
Greet one another in Christian love.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Sermon
Proverbs 1:7  Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.  Only fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Ecclesiastes 12:13  Fear God and obey His commands, for this is the duty of every person.

  1. Proverbs covers a wide range of subjects.  It provides practical rules for daily living.
  2. Real wisdom is gained by fearing the Lord.
  3. What is fear of God?  It is the understanding of God's divine majesty, a feeling of reverence, respect and awe of His power and grace.
  4. We should have a personal relationship with God.
  5. Come near to God and He will draw nearer to you.
