Sunday School - Brief
2 Corinthians 7:1-16
Subject:  "How to Receive What God Has in Store for Us"

From Chapter 6
If you be in Christ, you are a new creature.
Press toward the high mark which is Christ Jesus

Chapter 7
Let us cleanse ourselves from all that defiles our bodies and spirits and let us work toward complete purity because we fear God.
Cleansing is two-fold: (1) turning away from sin; (2) turning toward God

Sermon taken from
Ephesians 2:1-5  but feel free to read entire chapter.
Subject: The Freedom of Grace

We are saved by God's grace.
Grace takes care of it all through God's unmerited favor and not to anything resulting on our part.

We do not need to live any longer under sin's power.  The penalty of sin and its power over us was miraculously destroyed by Christ on the cross.
Through our faith in Christ, we are acquitted.

Our project is completed. Come for a visit any Second or Fourth Sunday to see for yourself.
