Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Subject: Trusting God's Plan When Life Doesn't Make Sense
- God has a plan for each and every one of us.
- This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24
- Do not let others blur the lines of the kingdom of God and evil doings.
- We can trust in the only one who knows what's really going on.
- Trust requires our surrender to God.
- Trust with all of our whole self and not just a part of us.
- Abraham, Mary, Noah and even Jesus trusted God in their times of need, just to name a few from the bible. So if they needed God, you know we surely need him.
- Our finite minds only see a narrow portion of things but God sees all.
- God's thoughts are not our thoughts and neither are his ways our.
- Trusting God means inviting him into our lives.
- Do our plans align with God's will?
- Remember his is Lord and he is God all by himself.
- By trusting God, he will order our steps.
- God's word is a lamp unto our feet. Psalm 119:105
- God's grace can redeem us when we make a wrong turn.
- Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the call according to his purpose.
- If God can bring resurrection out of an old rugged cross, he can bring you out of your situation because he has a plan for you if we just surrender to him.
- God specializes
- God's plan is better than any plan we can come up with.
- Stay steadfast in the word of God.
