Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant, Mt. Pleasant & Shiloh

Prayer: Pastor Baggett

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:33 - For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all Churches of the saints.

Subject: Are You Confused?

  • Are we in a ball of confusion?
  • We are still dealing with Covid.
  • Measles have come back upon us.
  • Misinformation abounds.
  • Job insecurity, afraid of flying, etc.
  • God is not the source of confusion. We need to always stay in God's Word.
  • Satan is busy but God is our refuge.
  • We must pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18
  • Roman 8:26 - In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.
  • Proverbs 4:23 - Guard your heart with all vigilance, for from it are the sources of life.
  • Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brothers and sisters, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
  • If my people which are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7:14
  • God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
  • Matthew 16:18 -Upon this rock I shall build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:58 - Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
