Subject: How God Helps His People
- God is an on-time & all-time God
- God helps us thru the power of prayer. Prayer is the solemn request for help or expression of thanks to God.
- Prayer is a way to interact with God.
- Man should always pray and not faint.
- Matthew 6:5-6 - And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward, in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then you Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- God's promises assures us of His protection and provision. God has promised He would never leave us not forsake us, God will forgive us of our sins, God will never stop loving us, etc.
- God gives us His peace which proceeds all understanding.
- John 14:27 - My peace I give unto you.
- Emmanuel means God with us. Be assured of that.
- God helps his people thru His providential (divine foresight) power.
- All things works together for the good
- Psalm 91:11 - For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
