Greetings from Brown Chapel/Avant/Shiloh & Mt. Pleasant

Prayer by Rev. Pelton
Scriptures by Pastor Baggett

2 Timothy 3:1-5 - This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (4) Traitors, heady high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

  1. We must work on ourselves daily.  Be a better neighbor.
  2. Be not a false witness for it will not go unpunished.
  3. We need to pray for our leaders.
  4. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.
  5. God is still in control and is not of confusion.
  6. Isaiah 40:31 - They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings of eagles. They shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.
  7. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
  8. Pray in a manner that God tells us to.
  9. Always seek God's face, even in anger, seek Him. Stay in touch with God in all things.
  10. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverb 3:5-6
