Greetings from Brown Chapel/ Avant, Shiloh and Mt. Pleasant church families!
Prayer by Rev. PeltonSermon by Pastor Baggett
John 3:1-3 - Now a certain man, a Pharisee named Nicodemus, who was a member of the Jewish ruling council, same to Jesus at night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs that you do unless God is with him." Jesus replied, "I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Subject:What Does It Mean To Be Born Again?
- We are REDEEMED! We must be born again. Jesus paid it all. Repent of our sins and accept Jesus as the savior.
- We are heirs of God. We are received (adopted) into the family of God.
- We are reformed. We have a new life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- John 8:36 - So if the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
- Revelation 2:10 - Remain faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.
