I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete."
Subject: Joy of Jesus
- This joy is the power, presence and prompting of the Holy Spirit.
- This is a supernatural joy.
- This joy is independent of our circumstances.
- Why we lose our joy at times: (1) focus on the wrong things...so we need to refocus on Jesus and prayer; (2) disobedience....but obedience is better than sacrifice ; (3) tend to think about past mistakes......but God forgives us by his grace; (4) trying to live out our future before it even happens.....but God didn't give us a spirit of fear but of a sound mind....2 Timothy 1:7; (5) seeing so much evil and trials happening....but weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning....Psalm 30:5
- Joy & fear cannot exist in the same sphere.
