Welcome from Brown Chapel/Avant & Mt. Pleasant
Prayer: Rev. Pelton
Scripture: Psalm 46:1-5 - God is our strong refuge; he is truly our helper in times of troubles. For this reason we do not fear when the earth shakes, and the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea, when its waves crash and foam, and the mountains, shake before the surging sea. Selah. The river's channels bring joy to the city of God , the special, holy dwelling places of the sovereign One. God lives within it, it cannot be moved. God rescues it at the break of dawn.
Subject: What A Mighty God We Serve
- We live in trouble times.
- But when I would do good, evil seems to prevail. Romans 7:19
- God is our refuge, strength and rescue.
- Only God is our all in all.
- He is our hope for tomorrow.
- They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
- The Lord's help is immediately available. All we need to do is call on Him.
- How awesome is our God? He parted the Red Sea, shut up the lion's mouth, made a donkey speak, can make the rocks cry out, raised Jesus from the dead......how awesome is our God?!!
