Subject: Being Triumphant in Tribulation
- This Christian journey will be hard at times but we have God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit on our side.
- John 16:33 - I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage - I have conquered the world.
- Without God, we are overwhelmed.
- David did not wallow in self pity.
- We as Christians sometimes become closed off, depressed or discouraged. David didn't do that.
- David took is trouble to the Lord in prayer.
- What a friend we have in Jesus as Christians.
- We should always pray and not faint. Luke 18:1
- James 1:3 - Because you now that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
- 1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your cares o him because he cares for you.
- David began to exercise his faith.
- Psalm 90:1-2 - O Lord, you have been our protector through all generations! Even before the mountains came into existence, or you brought the world into being, you were the eternal God.
- Our God is our all and all.
- We need to stand on the Word of God.
- David was filled with a confidence and a hope.
- Trouble doesn't last always.
- Pray without ceasing; our faith will increase; & then we have the blessed assurance of God
