Welcome to Brown Chapel/Avant, Mt. Pleasant & Shiloh

Prayer: Pastor Baggett

Scripture: Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.; Micah 6:8 - He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Subject: Breaking Down Walls

  • We are divided even in our church services.
  • We are supposed to be praying to the same god but we have so many differences that distract us from the Word.
  • Racism, hatred, arguments, opposite political views, cultural problems....the list goes on and on.
  • What does God require of us? He requires us to break down walls and love one another.
  • We must remember that everyone was made in God's image.
  • There are no superior races.
  • God's image comes in every race and language.  We are all one in Jesus Christ.
  • Our worth is not about the color of our skin or the way we speak.
  • Social class does not matter when it comes to God.
  • God wants everyone to know Him.
  • The enemy (Satan) want division, but Christ wants reconcilition.
  • Love is the key. It breaks down walls.
  • We must show mercy and humility towards others.
  • We become a living testimony when we show love to others.
  • The wall must come down.
  • Christ died to break every chain.
  • Jesus paid it all.
