Scripture: Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, not sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law does he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper. 

Subject: Our God Is Looking for a Few Good Men

• God wants men to be upright and in his word.
• We dare not mock God.
• A blessed man delights in the word of God and tries to live by the word of God.
• Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek God.
• Where will one be housed in eternity?
• Acts 16:31 - Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved, and thy house.
• Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will direct your paths. 
• Psalm 84:5 - Happy is the man whose strength is in you; in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
• A blessed man is a man of integrity: strong moral principles, upright, honorable.
• We must stay in readiness.
