Greetings from Brown Chapel/Avant, Shiloh Baptist & Mt. Pleasant Baptist
Prayer by Rev. Pelton
1 John 4:8 and 11 - He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
Message from Pastor Baggett
Subject: The Greatness of God's Love

  • God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food is a quote from our childhood.
  • Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God
  • God is from everlasting to everlasting
  • John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God.
  • God is the source of all love and is everlasting.
  • God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient
  • The power of love.  Jesus is able to safe through the power of love.
  • We have all kinds of power in this world today: solar, cellular, electrical, etc. But the power of God's love brings the Fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
  • No one can escape the love of God.
  • The path of God's love.  For God so loved the world that He gave is only begotten Son ....John 3:16
  • We need to seek the love of God.
  • Ask and it will be given to you; Seek and ye shall find; Knock and the door will be opened to you.  Matthew 7:7
  • Our love of Christ can also reach out to other with a smile or a kind word.
  • The blood of Jesus will never lose its power.
  • We have the VICTORY in JESUS!
