Brown Chapel's kitchen is in the middle of being rebuilt with extra space for seating, new cabinets and flooring. We remodeled it a few years ago but decided just recently to enlarge again. Mr. Coleman, our carpenter is expected to finish by September. The new portion will take in roughly 18 ft. of the side parking lot but will not necessarily interfere with parking in general.
The Cementery is also getting a new entrance gate, an arch with the name "Brown Chapel" and a walk-in smaller gate for visitors.
Homecoming will be at our usual time of October 12, 2008 nat 2:30 PM.
